Seeking engagements with our partners worldwide we offer a broad spectrum of talent from exciting emerging artists to those with enviable international reputations. With over 30 years of experience in the industry Caroline Phillips attends personally to the day-to-day management of each artist assisted by Artists’ Administrator Laura Childs.

exploration

At CPM no two days are the same, there is always something new: new repertoire, partners and opportunities for established artists as well as the constant quest to find interesting young and emerging talents who need guidance at the early stages of their careers. We have a long history of seeking, identifying and launching undiscovered artists towards rewarding careers.

innovation

CPM is agile and an early adopter of new technology and working practices. We were the first UK agency to have a website, discovered and helped develop the Overture artist’s management application for classical music agents which has since become the widely adopted throughout the industry and introduced family-friendly working-from-home practices as early as 2012. To showcase our artists we founded Arcangelo Productions and partnered with BIS Records as executive producers for several successful recordings with our artists alongside the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, The Bach Choir and The English Concert plus arranged the filming of Sir John Tavener’s Towards Silence at Winchester Cathedral.

collaboration

Apart from many long-term relationships with our artists we have built associations the promoters with whom our artists work over decades. At their best these connections enable us to be reliable partners in helping promoters discover new talent that share their artistic values. We are members of the International Artist Managers Association and Opera Managers Association International and regularly collaborate with other artists’ managements in particular with Schwalbe and Partners in New York, MAM Management in Vienna, BIAM in Madrid and Karsten Witt Music Management in Berlin. With several other of the smaller UK agencies we arrange showcase auditions for our artists at the Wigmore Hall, London the last of which was attended by representatives of over 30 major international opera houses and orchestras.
