rosanne-havel - soprano
British soprano Rosanne Havel trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and the Royal College of Music where she was supported by the RCM Gylla Godwin and Jill de Vogel scholarships and won the RCM Concerto and Lieder Competitions. She completed the English National Opera Operaworks course and continues her vocal studies with Joy Mammen. Rosanne was an Opera Holland Park Christine Collins Young Artist 2014.
Her opera engagements include Suor Dolcina Suor Angelica, Berta Il Barbiere di Siviglia, First Nenelle in Wolf-Ferrari I Gioielli della Madonna and the title role of Will Todd Alice's Adventures in Wonderland for Opera Holland Park; Despina Cosi fan tutte for European Chamber Opera; Constance The Sorcerer for Charles Court Opera; the title role Amahl and the night visitors for Opera East and Second Woman Dido and Aeneas for Bury Court Opera. She has recorded First Apparition Macbeth with the Orchestra of English National Opera / Edward Gardner for Chandos and Brat and Tweedledee Alice's Adventures in Wonderland with the Orchestra of Opera Holland Park / Matthew Waldren for Signum and her repertoire also includes Gianetta L'Elisir d'Amore and Barbarina Le Nozze di Figaro.
